Piquant Catering provides food and beverage service in the Members Champagne Bar over the duration of the two AJC annual Spring and Autumn racing carnivals. This consists of providing a plated lunch and afternoon tea, while also supplying the front of house team for both food and beverage for up to 200 guests. Piquant Catering’s menus are modern and innovative and the service is always efficient and the team well organised. The quality of food from both presentation and taste perspectives is always excellent, of which we have client letters to support this.
Further to this, Piquant Catering was also engaged to be the exclusive caterer for the most recent Spring Festival Lawn Party, held at the Royal Randwick Racecourse and attended by around 4,000 guests. The event ran for six hours and it was a requirement that the food options be of excellent quality, substantial in amount and at a relevant price point to the business model for the guests – all of which Piquant Catering met with their exceptional understanding of these unique requirements. Planning and preparation across all avenues was excellent and the communication and liaison between all parties required minimum effort.
Furthermore, as Royal Randwick is an accredited HACCP site, Piquant Catering is required to meet all compliance requests as a result of operating under the umbrella of the Australian Jockey Club Food Safety Plan. What we do
We are a member of the Restaurant & Catering Association of NSW and are a recognised Gold Licence caterer. We also hold a liquor licence with the NSW Government Liquor Administration Board. In conducting our business we adhere to the high industry standard in food safety policy and work safety procedures and we have a quality assurance and HACCP plan implemented throughout our company.
